1. Purpose

The purpose of this Agreement is to set out the terms under which the Trainer will provide dog training services to the Owner for the dog(s) identified below.

3. Services

The Trainer agrees to provide the following training services:

The Trainer will use reasonable professional skill and care in delivering the services, but does not guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend on multiple factors including the Owner's participation and the dog's temperament.

4. Owner Responsibilities

The Owner agrees to:

          *Follow all training instructions and guidance provided by the Trainer.

          *Attend scheduled sessions on time and participate actively.

          *Contact the Trainer if he/she will be late or needs to cancel.

          *Ensure the dog is healthy, vaccinated, and fit for training.

          *Inform the Trainer of any issues (behavioral, aggression, medical, etc.).

          *Use appropriate equipment as recommended by the Trainer.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may affect training outcomes and does not relieve the Owner of payment obligations.

5. Fees and Payment

The Owner agrees to pay the Trainer as follows:

**The Owner agrees to pay the Trainer_$____________ for trainings that require the trainer to travel, including but not limited to the Owner's home, a public place, etc.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

The Owner must provide at least 12 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session.  However, the Trainer understands that sometimes unforeseeable things happen, therefore the Owner gets one (1) "Freebie" cancellation.  After that, any missed sessions or cancellations without 12 hours notice may be forfeited without refund.

The Trainer reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide reasonable notice.

7. Health and Safety

The Owner confirms that the dog:

          *Is in good health and free from contagious conditions.

          *Has received appropriate vaccinations.

          *Does not pose any undisclosed risk to people or other animals.

The Trainer reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if the dog presents a safety risk.

8. Liability

The Owner acknowledges that working with animals carries inherent risks.  To the extent permitted by law:

          *The Trainer shall not be responsible for injuries, damages, or losses caused by the dog during or after training.

          *The Owner remains responsible for the dog's behavior at all times.

The Trainer will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety during training sessions.

9.  Equipment and Methods

The Trainer may recommend or use specific training tools or methods.  The Owner agrees not to use any equipment or technique without proper instruction.

The Trainer will use humane, professional training methods, and will not employ practices intended to harm the dog.

10.  Picture/Video Permission

The Trainer may ask the Owner's permission to take pictures/video of the dog(s) and training sessions to use on Social Media including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

11.  Student/Intern Attendance

The Trainer may ask the Owner's permission to allow students/interns to attend the trainings.  The students/interns will observe the session(s) and sometimes train the Owner and dog(s) under the Trainer's guidance.

12.  Term and Termination

This Agreement begins on the Effective Date and continues until completion of the agreed services unless terminated earlier.

Either Party may terminate this Agreement.

Upon Termination:

          *The Owner remains responsible for payment for services already rendered.

          *Any prepaid sessions may be refunded at the Trainer's discretion, subject to deductions for completed services.

13.  Confidentiality

The Trainer agrees to keep any personal information provided by the Owner confidential and to use it only for the purpose of delivering services under this Agreement.

14.  Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of California.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through good faith negotiations.  If unresolved, the dispute may be submitted to a competent court in the applicable jurisdiction.

15.  Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements relating to the subject matter.

16.  Amendments

Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
